For 7 years, DFW Outdoors has been providing active professional adults from all over the Dallas - Fort Worth area an opportunity to take part in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities while making new friends and establishing long lasting relationships. Our events range from skiing, hiking, camping, and kayaking, to social gatherings like concerts, dinner nights, and wine parties. Our members come from all walks of life. Some are long time Texans and some are new to the area. Some have traveled and lived all over the world. One thing for sure, here at DFWO you will meet all kinds of fun and interesting people. With such a mix of outdoor and social adventures to take part in each month, you can be sure there is something for everyone.
DFWO is an event oriented club. Our focus is on offering our members a wide variety of outdoor, sporting, and social events every week. Generally, our events are geared for the beginner and we've had many first timers participate in activities that they have never tried before. However, we still like to host intermediate and advanced events designed to help members progress out of their normal box.
We are not a singles club or dating service. Anyone is welcome to join. Married couples are encouraged to join in on our fun. In fact, married couples receive a 2 for 1 membership so that they can participate together or individually. We really only have one prerequisite to join DFWO - a desire to add a little adventure to your life while meeting all kinds of different people and of different ages. What else makes us great? It's our network of sister clubs. Your membership to DFWO also gets you access to our sister clubs in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, San Diego, Orlando, and Fort Collins. Your DFWO login name allows you to RSVP and attend any events they may be hosting. On top of that, throughout the year we'll even host joint events together. Our network gives members more opportunities to travel and meet other like minded people. You get 7 clubs in one!

DFW Outdoors on television!
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department hosts a television program that covers special subjects relevant to the department. They also do highlights on different state parks. The show airs on KERA 13. In November 2007, during our camping trip to Lake Ray Roberts State Park, we were lucky enough to get filmed as part of their show.
